Missing Jessie: Mom of missing woman lights a candle on Mother’s Day Tagged with: Jessie Foster Las Vegas missing Jessie Foster has been missing from Las Vegas since April 2006. She is a native of Kamloops. Efforts to locate her have failed so far. Her mom, Glendene Grant has not let a day go by without searching for her Jessie. Here is her mother’s day message. First off, I want to wish all my wonderful Mom Friends a very Happy Mother’s Day. Let’s all celebrate our children and remember how much they love us and of course, how much we love them. Also, please say a special prayer for Jessie and remind her what a wonderful daughter she is and how much I love her, miss her and how very proud I have always been of her, as I have been of all my daughters. Jessie Foster - Kamloops woman is still missing Jessie Foster - Kamloops woman is still missing Jessie is really making a difference in the world, not sure why it had to be in this way, but no matter what, JESSIE FOSTER is known to many and her case is changing many things: how human trafficking is looked at; going to our nations capitol in a bid to try to get a national/international DNA database set up in Canada; helping others with a missing loved one in their family and trying to help them in any way possible as to the direction to go, people to contact and how to get active on the internet networking on every possible site you can; and much, much more. Without all the support we get from all of you, this would be all in vain, so THANK YOU ALL, for your continued support in our search for my international endangered missing daughter, JESSICA EDITH LOUISE FOSTER. We will be honouring Jessie’s birthday in a couple of weeks…May 27th is Jessie’s 25th birthday. That is a milestone birthday and we all need to remember her and celebrate her life. Please remember to light a candle for Jessie, say a prayer and remember her with a smile. Jessie has always been a treasure – a kind, wonderful daughter who’s small things are still so vivid in my mind…like when she was trying to get me to smile when she was in trouble for something and if I even cracked the smallest one she would grin and point at my lips and say, “See, you are smiling…you are not mad” and from that moment on, Jessie was no longer in trouble (don’t get me wrong, the troubles Jessie got in were all minor and for the life of me, I can’t even remember one incident in particular). Or when she gave me her “Jessie-look”, which is a look that her younger sister Jennee (19) has down pat; I even tell her “wow, that is a look that Jessie gets on her face”. All my daughters, Jessie, Jennee, Crystal (26) and Katie (22) have so much in common, and for the life of me, I could never get their names straight when they were younger – LOL. Just like my mom with us. I love all my girls so much and now I am blessed to have a new generation to love – Jennee’s daughter Maddie is now 16 months old and Katie’s son JJ is 4 months old – they are the cutest, most adorable, most precious babies and I love them so much. I love all my kids with all my heart. - Glendene Grant, Jessie’s mom. Follow this website: www.Jessiefoster.ca

'She just left' Edmonton Sun - Alberta, Canada Mon, May 1, 2006 By SARAH KENNEDY, SUN MEDIA Las Vegas man puzzled about what happened to missing Calgary woman CALGARY -- Jessica Foster didn't seem to be in any trouble in Las Vegas before she vanished, says a man who lived with her. James Todd said Foster had been dating his twin brother Peter and lived with them in Las Vegas before she disappeared more than a month ago. "It's pretty sad the way she just left and no one seems to know where she went," he said. "I've been asking myself since this started, where is she? And why hasn't she contacted anyone?" James said he hasn't heard from Jessica in more than a month and as far as he knows, neither has his brother. While living with Todd for almost a year, Foster, 21, had daily contact with her father Dwight in Calgary and her mother Glendene Grant, who lives in Kamloops, B.C. But communication completely stopped in late March. Foster's phone records show she's made no calls and there's been no money taken from her bank account. Dwight and Grant hired private eye Mike Kirkman to hunt down the missing woman in Sin City. He discovered the disturbing news that the once straight-A student from a loving family had been working as a prostitute in Vegas and was, at one point, beaten so badly she was hospitalized. James said when he moved in with the couple in order to save money to get his own place, he had no idea what Foster did for a living. "My assumption was that she was a stripper," he said. "I'm shocked but this seems to be a quick way to make a buck in Vegas and I'm not going to pass judgment on what she chose to do for a living." James said he kept to himself while living with the tumultuous couple. "Jessica and Peter had a lot of arguments and that's not the environment I want to be in," he said. Along with Kirkman, Las Vegas police are also investigating the situation. Original Link: www.edmontonsun.com/News/Alberta/2006/05/01/1558783-sun.html

SELECT id FROM pages WHERE id='1' AND status='1' SELECT * FROM pages WHERE id='1' AND status='1' By: Ethan Baron, 2006-04-21 A former Boston Pizza waitress from Kamloops has vanished in Las Vegas after apparently falling into the clutches of a violent pimp. Jessie Foster, 21, last contacted her family March 28. Her bank accounts and credit cards have shown no activity since then. Her several-times-a-week calls to family member have ceased altogether. “She’s a good kid, said Foster’s mother, Glendene Grant of Kamloops. “We’re talking about a girl who got As on her report card. She never smoked cigarettes. She never did drugs.” A year ago, Foster arrived in Las Vegas on her way home from a trip to Florida with a friend. “She called me from Las Vegas and said, ‘Mom, I like it here, I’m going to stay,” Grant said. Foster soon met a man named Peter who told her he raced cars and came from a wealthy family. She moved into his expensive condo. “To her, he was like Prince Charming,” Grant said. “What he was, he’s just like a frickin’ wolf.” A private detective hired by Foster’s dad, Dwight Foster, uncovered disturbing information. Foster, who had graduated from high school and went on to work as a waitress at Boston Pizza in Calgary and Kamloops, was convicted in Las Vegas of soliciting for prostitution in June 2005. Last September, she was charged with four more counts of that offence, investigator Mike Kirkman said. Her Prince Charming was married to a convicted prostitute and he had been found guilty of spousal abuse. Associate of Foster told Kirkman that Peter had beaten her up and that they’d seen the bruises. “I think you can draw your own conclusions as to what he may be,” Kirkman said. “In English, it’s called a pimp.” Peter told Foster’s mother that he came home April 3 to find Jessie had taken all her belongings and moved out. Las Vegas police brought Peter, 39, in for questioning. “We’re interested in him enough that we brought him in a second time,” said the department’s public information officer Tim Bedwell. It appears Peter has a considerable amount of money but no legitimate source of income, Bedwell said. But police have no evidence of a crime in relation to Foster’s disappearance, and Peter’s conviction for spousal assault isn’t enough for a warrant to search his home, Bedwell said. Peter is the only person police know of in the Las Vegas area to question in connection with Foster’s disappearance, Bedwell said. Peter told The Province he has no involvement with the prostitution business and that he never physically abused Foster. “I don’t give a s—t what the hell they say about me,” Peter said. “When I met Jessica Foster, she was a hooker.” He said Foster stayed with him on and off and he thinks she’s now working as a decoy for the police, or has gone underground to avoid being deported for prostitution offences. With each hour that passes, hope fades a little more for Foster’s family. But her mother leaves a voicemail message for her daughter every day. “Jessie, we’re looking for you, baby” her mother says. “Don’t worry, we’re going to find you.” ebaron@png.canwest.com

More Border Blues--Canadian Mom Searching for Missing Daughter Denied Entry Posted in Chronicle Blog by Phillip Smith on Tue, 06/05/2007 - 3:48pm Just two weeks ago, in an article titled Border Blues, we wrote about how both the Canadian and the US governments can and do deny entry to people who admit to past drug use or have a drug conviction. Last week, a particularly egregious example of the abuse of this provision occurred. In a sad tale first picked up by the Vancouver daily the Province, "Mother's Hunt for Missing Daughter Blocked at Border", Kamloops, BC, mother Glendene Grant related how she was turned away from the US as she headed for Las Vegas to search for her young adult daughter, Jessie Foster, who went missing a little more than a year ago. Although Grant had made several previous trips to Las Vegas in an effort to find her daughter and even though she was scheduled to meet local law enforcement and appear at a Crimestoppers event about Jessie's disappearance, she was turned away a week ago today. Why? The 49-year-old mother was arrested in 1986 on marijuana and cocaine possession charges. We are looking into this. Right now, I have emailed Ms. Grant to set up an interview, and I have calls in to US Customs and Border Protection and an anti-human trafficking unit in the Las Vegas Police Department. There is apparently some suspicion that Jessie Foster was the victim of sex slavers. But who cares about that, right? Customs and Border Protection appears more interested in protecting us from a harmless woman who got busted on penny ante drug possession charges more than two decades ago than helping her spur an investigation with possible international implications. My understanding that the decision to deny entry to people with old drug convictions is not mandatory (I'll be checking with CBP on this) but discretionary. In the case of Glendene Grant, the denial of entry looks to be an abuse of discretion, not to mention just downright mean, inhumane, and cold-hearted. Is there more to the story? Stay tuned.

Mother's hunt for missing daughter blocked at border Glendene Grant should have been in Las Vegas last week, meeting with investigators about her missing daughter, whom she fears fell prey to human traffickers. By The Vancouver ProvinceJune 3, 2007 Glendene Grant should have been in Las Vegas last week, meeting with investigators about her missing daughter, whom she fears fell prey to human traffickers. Instead, she's at home in Kamloops after being denied entry to the U.S. over a 21-year-old drug conviction. "I haven't unpacked my bags. I have to get back down there," Grant said through tears on Friday. Since Grant's daughter, Jessie Foster, went missing in Las Vegas more than a year ago, the Kamloops mother has made three trips to the city to search for her daughter. Grant never had any problems until Tuesday, when U.S. customs officers at Vancouver airport barred her entry over a 1986 conviction for possession of marijuana and cocaine. Grant said she wasn't a user, and the drugs belonged to a visiting friend. She said she was convicted after police came looking for her friend and found drugs in his belongings inside her home. Tuesday, the 49-year-old mother pleaded with officials to allow her into the U.S., explaining that she had meetings scheduled with police, including an event arranged by CrimeStoppers to speak to local media about her missing daughter. Grant says she spoke with U.S. Customs and Border Protection Chief Patricia Lundy, to no avail. She says Lundy told her that her daughter went to Las Vegas by choice, and that when Grant asked to file a complaint about being barred, she was told to leave the building. When she insisted on filing a complaint, Lundy called the RCMP, she says. Before she left the airport, she says, another U.S. customs officer told her she was being denied entry because she was going to the U.S. to work. Lundy did not return a call from The Province. Cherise Miles, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokeswoman in Chicago, said she was looking into the case but still had no answers by deadline. Miles confirmed that a criminal conviction -- no matter how old -- is grounds to bar entry. But she said that Grant's case sounded more complex, considering she'd been travelling to the U.S. without problems in recent months. Grant says she has been told her only hope is to apply for a waiver -- a time-consuming process that would cost a minimum of hundreds of dollars and require a letter from the RCMP about her criminal background and submission of her fingerprints. Foster has been missing since March 28, 2006. The 23-year-old former Boston Pizza waitress arrived in Las Vegas in May 2005 after travelling with a friend. She phoned home to say she liked the city and was staying. It wasn't long before Foster also told her family she'd fallen in love with a rich man, 39-year-old Peter Todd, and was moving in with him. Grant said she only discovered her daughter had been working as a prostitute for an escort agency after she went missing. Todd has been interviewed twice by North Las Vegas police. He denies any knowledge of Foster's disappearance, Grant said. After North Las Vegas police declared the case cold, a U.S. reporter called Grant and suggested she get in contact with the newly-formed Anti-Trafficking League Against Slavery, which came into full operation in February. ATLAS investigators are now looking into the case to see if they can take it over. Terri Miller, ATLAS program director, said she suspects Foster was sold as a sex slave because the case has "many human-trafficking indicators." lsin@png.canwest.com © (c) CanWest MediaWorks Publications Inc.

Taken From missingpersonforum.com/index.php?topic=1431.0;wap2JessiesMomGlendene: Jessie was taken on a trip to Ft. Lauderdale from Kamloops, BC Canada in April 2005. She came back with pictures of this awesome vacation with someone who was a friend of hers from Calgary, AB named Donald Vaz. When he wanted to take her on a 2nd trip I was very leery and questioned Jessie about his motive. She said I worry too much and went off to Manhattan, NY and Atlantic City, NJ. She was supposed to come back in a couple of days, but she called me to say she was going to go to Las Vegas to visit a friend - this friend was someone I had never heard of before, Yvonne Hubrechtsen (possibly a recruiter). Jessie got to Las Vegas on May 13, 2005 and called me to say that since her 21st birthday was in 2 weeks, she was going to stay there to celebrate. I was not happy about it, but there was not much I could do about it. One thing that haunts me to this day is that I said to Jessie that I wanted a contact number of someone in Las Vegas because 'if something happened to you or if you went missing, I need to have someone to call'. Jessie went missing 10 months later, under very mysterious circumstances. Jessie is possibly a human trafficking victim - Jessie is also the possible victim of a truck driver/serial killer in Las Vegas, but there is no proof of anything. She simply vanished off the face of the earth the day after talking to her older sister Crystal, making plans to come home to go to their stepsister's wedding reception in Calgary, AB in April 2006. We never heard from Jessie again, her phone, credit cards, bank accounts or passport have never been touched since. Jessie was in constant contact with her family & friends in Canada throughout her 10 month stay in the USA. This contact stopped suddenly and will be 3 years on March 29, 2009. Jessie's story has been told on the Geraldo at Large show (April 26, 2006), the Maury Povich show (October 11, 2006), the Montel Williams show (1st time-May 24, 2007 and they did an update on July 8, 2008 as one of his final shows before going off the air). Her story was also told on America's Most Wanted on November 15, 2008 (http://www.amw.com/missing_persons/brief.cfm?id=60803) and was even told in the National Enquirer in August 2008. There has been other magazines, national and international (CTV & Global TV in Canada & FOX News channel in the USA plus lots of local coverage in Kamloops, BC, Calgary & Edmonton, AB and Las Vegas, NV) coverage. Jessie's story has been told in Albuquerque, NM when it was thought she may even be one of the 13 bodies uncovered in the desert in mesa. There has even been 2 desert searches in North Las Vegas in our efforts to find my daughter. We even had to wait for autopys on 2 women found in the Las Vegas desert in 2006 and in 2008 we submitted our DNA for testing (waited from January until March for the results) so it could be tested against the Kilgore (Texas) Jane Doe found October 2006 and who's reconstruction was considered by some to look a lot like Jessie (not that I ever thought that...and after a 3 month wait we were told she was not Jessie). I personally believe that Jessie is alive. This is my mother's instinct, which has been proven many times, as the police tell me, to be very accurate. I also believe that Jessie was forced/brainwashed/drugged to work at an escort agency. There has been hospital records of Jessie being beaten and I have personally talked to the manager of the escort agency, who cried over Jessie's disappearance, and who believed (as did all the girls who worked there and who knew Jessie, but who Peter had renamed Taylor) that Jessie was dead...murdered. I told her I did not believe this and the funny this is, I comforted her. This woman told me that when Jessie started working there she could not understand why. She told me that Jessie was NOT a drug addict, she was not doing this out of love for money or this lifestyle, she did it because she 'loved' Peter, who was by then Jessie's fiance, and because she was afraid not to. Jessie had been see by this woman and many others with bruises on her. This woman told me that she called Jessie 'Little Girl' and would say, "Go home Little Girl, you do not belong down her", but Jessie would say, she was too afraid to leave. This woman told me she took time to talk to Jessie each time she saw her because she said, there was just 'something about her'. There is also the fact that Jessie was afraid of Peter Todd (her boyfriend/fiance/pimp[?])'s estranged wife, Trish VanArsdale (AKA: Sierra...her prostitute name) and Jessie told several of us that Trish pulled a knife on her and cut her hand - this was confirmed with me last year when a woman contacted me to say she worked at the agency that Jessie worked at when she came in one day with a cut hand, bleeding all over, crying and saying that the "f'ing b***h ex-wife of Peter cut her". Peter Todd also told me personally that Jessie as afraid of Trish and both Jessie and Peter told me about an incident where Trish was outside banging on their front door screaming for Jessie to come out / she was going to hurt her bad. Both Jessie and Peter told me and others that Jessie would NEVER answer the door of the house if she was home alone, in fear that Trish was on the other side. NOW, this is really the 'condensed' version of what has happened to my daughter in Las Vegas and her disappearance for the past 3 years. Please help us keep Jessie's story out there for all to see, read & hear. Please post her picture & website any where you can. Thank you so much, Jessie's mom Glendene Grant - www.jessiefoster.ca

JESSICA EDITH LOUISE FOSTER / Endangered Missing 2006 (photo-circa 2006) Missing Since: March 29, 2006 from Las Vegas, Nevada... Classification: Endangered Missing... Date Of Birth: May 27, 1984 ... Age: 21 ... Height: 5'6"-5'7"... Weight: 110-130 lbs... Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Hazel... Race: White ... Gender: Female ... Details of Disappearance...... Jessie moved to Las Vegas in May 2005, met a rich man, and moved in with him within a month or so... Less than one year later, she mysteriously vanished... Her parents talked to her March 28 and said, "talk to you tomorrow", but they have never heard from her again... The boyfriend was known to beat Jessica, but her family was unable to get her to leave him... They later found out that he was forcing her into the escort business, which was discovered after she disappeared and her family hired a PI... One of the last things that Jessie told her older sister, Crystal, during the last phone call was that she was packing and ready to leave the man... Crystal warned her to make sure he did not find out, but Jessie said she thought he already knew... Her family never heard back from her again... The police do not have any evidence of foul play at this time, but her family believes otherwise...Fingerprints and dental records are available...Investigating Agency ... If you have any information concerning this case, please contact: North Las Vegas Police Department ... Det. Dave Molnar ... (702) 633-1779 ... OR... Kamloops, British Columbia Police Department... 250-828-3293... ....................... ........................................ ..................Jessie is originally Canadian by birth. .......UPDATE JULY 22/08.....In this week's edition of "The Missing," we revisit the mysterious disappearance of Jessica Edith Louise Foster, a 21-year-old woman from Canada, who vanished from the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada in March 2006... "Jessie was born in Calgary, AB, Canada on May 27, 1984. She was the second daughter for Dwight Foster and myself," Jessie's mom, Glendene Grant, said in a recent email. "On June 27, 1987, I moved back to Kamloops, BC, Canada, where I grew up and my parents still lived. My mom & dad bought me the house I am still living in over 20 years later. Jessie and her three sisters all went to the same elementary, junior high and high school that my siblings and I went to. My mom passed away 10 years ago on March 22, 1998, and my dad still lives in the house I grew up in." According to Glendene, Jessie stayed with her in Kamloops until she reached the age of 16 and moved back to Calgary to live with her father. "It was very sad for me, but you know, the Internet was something that makes you feel that others are no farther away than the other room," Glendene said. "Jessie was on MSN chats with her sisters and me practically daily. I remember hearing her belching from the other room and in a funny way, feeling nostalgic over it—you can only understand this if you ever heard Jessie's belching ringing throughout the house...it was loud and unbelievable for a beautiful, petite young woman to have that noise come from her. We laughed every time."... Jessie did well in school, and in June 2002 her mother and siblings drove to Calgary for her high school graduation ceremony. After receiving her diploma, Jessie got her own apartment and began working two jobs to support herself. She continued doing that until the spring of 2005, when she moved back to Kamloops to help her mom, who was having some behavioral problems with Jessie's 15-year-old sister... "About three weeks after getting back to Kamloops, Jessie started getting calls from a man named Donald, someone she knew from when she was a teenager," Glendene said. "During one of her conversations with him, Donald asked Jessie if she wanted to go on a short trip with him to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to visit his mother—we have since found out that his mother lives in Edmonton, AB and not in Florida. She told us that he was paying for the trip and he just wanted someone as company for him on the vacation. We did not feel that this was wrong, but we did ask Jessie if this guy wanted anything in return. She assured us he did not. So she went away, coming home a few days later with pictures of the trip."...According to Glendene, Donald called Jessie again a few weeks later and asked her to go with him to New York City and then to Atlantic City, New Jersey. Glendene said she had a bad feeling about the trip and questioned her about it, but due to her age there was little they could do to stop her from going..."She was to go to these places and fly back home, but for some reason, her trip got changed and she ended up going to Las Vegas, Nevada, arriving there on May 13, 2005. After arriving she called us and said she had decided to go there to visit a friend she knew there. That friend was dating a man who introduced Jessie to another man named Peter."... Peter and Jessie allegedly got engaged and lived together in a 3.4 million dollar home in North Las Vegas. Over the course of the next year, unbeknownst to her family, Jessie racked up several arrests for prostitution and at one point was beaten so severely that she had to be hospitalized. In the spring of 2006 Jessie stopped calling home, and her family began to fear something had happened to her. The family got in touch with Peter, who allegedly told them that Jessie had left him in April 2006. Concerned, Glendene reported her daughter missing to the North Las Vegas Police Department and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who later moved her case to the Serious Crimes Department. Nonetheless, there were few clues to follow, and the case quickly grew cold...Jessie's parents are currently waiting for DNA samples they submitted to be compared to DNA collected from the body of a Jane Doe who was recently found in Kilgore, Gregg County, TX..."We have been waiting since January for these results. Something that made the authorities look at Jessie as the possible Jane Doe was not only the fact that her facial features greatly resembled the Jane Doe, but there is a house in The Colony, TX that Peter is connected to, and Jane Doe was found not far from there."...Glendene is determined to find answers in her daughter's disappearance. She has been actively involved in the case from the beginning and currently maintains a Web site devoted to the case at www.jessiefoster.ca. According to the Web site, a $50,000 dollar reward is being offered for information. Jessie is described as 5'7" and 120 lbs., with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Las Vegas Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477..."I have worked tirelessly in my search for my missing daughter and I will never stop until I find her," Glendene said. "If Jessie is alive, we need to find her soon and if Jessie is not alive, we need to find her soon so her soul can rest in peace. Either way, I will find my daughter."...If you are a family member of a missing loved one and have a case you would like covered here, contact me via e-mail. If you are a reader who would like to help, please spread the word about this blog so others can find us. * Allen E. 'Prince' Brown, Jr. with hummer * Allen E. 'Prince' Brown Jr. mugshot New Jersey pimp’s arrest gets attention to Jessie's case Share: Email Story Add to Any Digg Facebook Stumbleupon by JessiesMomGlendene | August 15, 2009 at 12:18 am New Jersey pimp’s arrest gets attention to Jessie's case by Jessie’s mom Glendene Grant - August 14, 2009. Friday, August 7, 2009 there was an article that we came across about a human trafficker that has been arrested - abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=6954153ALLEN BROWN, JR. – pimp and human trafficker – A VERY HARD CORE CRIMINAL The picture of Allen Brown, Jr. with his hair all done, his jewelry all over him and beside his expensive Hummer, truly makes me sick. Who does this criminal think he is? There was this pimp from Jersey City (the same place that Peter Todd’s father lives), by the name of Allen Brown Jr., but he liked to be called ‘Prince’. Yes…he seriously had people call him Prince and he had a red velvet throne in his home AND he had several crowns that he actually wore on his fat head. But, he is more like the Joker now. The 47-year-old ‘man’, and I use that word lightly…has been accused of forcing women to work for him (for almost 20 years, earning hundreds of thousands of dollars), to take drugs and beating them if they did not "meet daily quotas of up to $1,000"; keeping their cell phones and identification; making the women do anything and everything he told them to while keeping them locked in rooms. In other words, he is accused of being a human trafficker. As a matter of fact, the article says that Anne Milgram, Attorney General for New Jersey, is quoted as calling it “Operation Red Light” and "a shocking case of human trafficking". “We charge that Allen Brown Jr. enslaved vulnerable young women in a living hell of addiction and prostitution, controlling them with narcotics, threats and beatings,” Milgram declared. “We will prosecute him to the full extent of the law.” This ‘joker’ even involved his mother and other family members, using his mom’s bank account to launder dirty money…not that all mothers are innocent, so I really do not know the status of her involvement – she may be ‘actually involved’ or she may have also been ‘forced’ to do what ever her son told her to do. All I know is that she should be very ashamed of the son and other children, born from her womb. This is what Allen ‘Prince’ Brown Jr. looks like without his makeup, crown and throne! He is now brought down to the level he belongs in – the criminal level, ground level. There were six other people also indicted. The following are the names of the accused and the number of charges against each one…several are charged with human trafficking – all for promoting prostitution. They need to be made examples of. Allen ‘Prince’ Brown Jr. has 16 charges against him, ranging from "Human Trafficking. First Degree", and "Conspiracy to Commit Human Trafficking and Promote Prostitution. Second Degree" to "Money Laundering. Third Degree" and "Failure to File State Taxes. Third Degree" and many, many between. Arthur Brown has 3 charges, including "Conspiracy to Commit Human Trafficking and Promote Prostitution. Second Degree." Tecora Brown has 7 charges, including "Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering, Promote Prostitution and Theft by Extortion. First Degree." Marlo Taylor has 4 charges, including "Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering and Promote Prostitution. Third Degree." Tecora L. Brown has 4 charges, including "Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering and Promote Prostitution. Third Degree." Jerome Robinson has 4 charges, including "Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering and Promote Prostitution. Third Degree." Anthony Evans has 3 charges, including "Conspiracy to Commit Human Trafficking and Promote Prostitution. Second Degree." From this horrific story of human trafficking…beatings, forced drugging, forced prostitution…a Jessie supporter and now a very good friend of mine, Denise A., started making phone calls to New Jersey and after a full day and nearly 50 calls to ‘you-name-it/she-called-it’ she finally got to speak to a woman, State Investigator Detective Noëlle Holl of the Division of Criminal Justice, who works directly with Anne Milgram in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. Noëlle was very interested in hearing more about Jessie’s disappearance and the possible connection to human trafficking, forced prostitution and especially of the international nature of the case, so Denise gave Noëlle my email address and phone number and Noëlle gave her contact info to Denise to give to me. Denise, I know you do not like me to thank you, but I have to…THANK YOU, FRIEND. I phoned and emailed her right away, but it was later on in the day, and I am in the Pacific Time Zone and she is in the Eastern Time Zone, so we are 4 hours apart. She called me the next day at noon my time and we talked for well over an hour. She was so interested in Jessie’s case and she told me that the similarities between Allan ‘Prince’ Brown Jr. and Peter ‘Dread’ Todd was uncanny. She said, “They even look alike”. I sent her pictures of everyone I had pictures of, I sent her Jessie’s timeline that was created by another human trafficking task force that is no longer in operation, but thankfully, I got a copy of the timeline sent to me, I sent her as much information as I could. Noëlle even watched YOUNG, BEAUTIFUL & VANISHED that night. Noëlle even wanted Peter Todd’s dad phone number in Jersey City from Jessie’s final cell phone bill – only Jessie knows why she called Bertrand Todd in the weeks before she disappeared, but it is something that I have always wanted to know. I even called him myself after Jessie went missing – I told him I got his phone number from Jessie’s phone bill, but he said he never talked to her – that is very possible, as the call on the bill was only 1 minute long. I also asked him if he knew that Peter Todd had a missing fiance in Las Vegas and he told me no…that he did not even know Peter had a fiance…he thought he was still married to Trish. A short time later I could not get a hold of Peter, so I called his identical twin brother, James Todd to ask him to get Peter to call me and before I could say that, he blurted out, “why did you phone our dad?” I told him exactly why – his number was on my missing daughter’s cell bill and I called hundreds of numbers from her bills, why would I not call his? He was not very happy, but he did get Peter to call me. When I answered the phone, before I was able to talk, Peter Todd also blurted out, “why did you phone our day?” To which I said the exact same thing I said to James, but I also asked Peter why his own father did not know he was engaged to Jessie. As always, Peter said nothing – seriously the phone just goes silent – when he does not have an answer to something I have asked. Noëlle told me flat out that she couldn’t make any promises, but she will do anything and everything she can to help us in Jessie’s case – she even told me that the detectives who work on human trafficking cases in New Jersey will all be aware of Jessie’s case if, or should I say, WHEN they make another arrest like that of Allen Brown Jr. and his cohorts. So, now we wait, prayers on our lips and our fingers crossed as Jessie’s case stays in the media (E! Entertainment this month with the possibility of W-Five and even the Steve Wilkos show airing Jessie’s story in the near future) and in the minds of family, friends and all our many, many supporters.

Captive victims' cries go unheard Thirty-one months after her daughter disappeared from Las Vegas, Glendene Grant feels in her heart that she is alive. By The Vancouver SunOctober 31, 2008 Thirty-one months after her daughter disappeared from Las Vegas, Glendene Grant feels in her heart that she is alive. The Kamloops mother believes that her daughter, Jessie Foster, is a victim of human trafficking, lured and enslaved in a life she never chose. She believes that her beautiful daughter is either being held in a locked room somewhere and raped on a daily basis by men who pay to have sex with her or she's being force-fed drugs and no longer cares what men are doing to her. Still, Grant is uncertain what North Las Vegas police might find Saturday when they do a ground search for her daughter's body on a stretch of desert north of Sin City. Jessie's story is familiar to people trying to stop this multibillion-dollar slave trade that's ensnared an estimated 12.3 million people worldwide. But it also illustrates how complicated it is to not only find the victims, but prosecute the traffickers and pimps who use and abuse them. In the past two years, Canada has identified only 31 victims and it has yet to successfully prosecute a trafficker. In March 2006, Jessie was working at Boston Pizza in Kamloops. She planned to go to university. When she wasn't working, she hung out with her DJ fiance on the weekends. At one of his gigs, Jessie met Donald Vaz, who invited her to go with him to Fort Lauderdale. He had an extra ticket. Jessie's family warned her not to go. Men never offer something for nothing, her mother told her. But Jessie was 20. No one could stop her from what she saw as a glamorous adventure. A few days later, Jessie called her mom from Manhattan. Vaz was out of money and he was trying to force Jessie out on the street as a prostitute. "I asked, 'Is he violent? Are you afraid?' She told me she was not afraid of him, but she was really upset with what he was asking. I was nervous about her being in the lobby of a motel in Manhattan, so I told her to go upstairs and hop on the next plane in the morning." But Vaz apologized and Jessie didn't get on a plane bound for home. Instead, she ended up in Atlantic City. Next, she went to Las Vegas. With only two weeks until her 21st birthday, Jessie phoned home to say she wanted to stay. Isn't that what lots of young people want to do for their 21st birthday, given all the hype about how exciting Las Vegas is? As Grant bitterly says, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. No wonder they say that." After her birthday, Jessie told her parents she'd been in a car accident and had to stay in Las Vegas until that was sorted out. A few weeks later, she told her parents she was living the Pretty Woman dream. She was engaged to a rich guy, 39-year-old Peter Todd. When she came home for Christmas in 2005, Jessie told her mom that she and Todd had been fighting. Still, she went back. In the beginning of March, Jessie called and told her mom that Todd had kicked her in the head. A few weeks later, Jessie disappeared. It was only after Grant and her ex-husband, Dwight Foster, hired a private detective that they found out Jessie had been prostituted through an escort service; that Todd had been arrested twice for spousal abuse; and, that his ex-wife had been arrested for prostitution. As frustrated as she is about Jessie's disappearance, Grant has no answers when asked what law enforcement officers should or could do. Nor, frankly, does anybody else, not even the experts who met in Vancouver for two days this week, searching for answers. But Grant knows from experience that many people still think human trafficking is either the figment of television writers' imaginations or something that only happens in Third World countries. She says people -- especially young women -- need to be aware of who they are involved with before they go on trips with "boyfriends" or before they fall for the promise of high-paid jobs as strippers and escorts. Still, even if they go willingly, as Jessie did, the law says they can be victims of trafficking if they are held against their will and their choices taken away from them. But by then, they are beaten or drugged and broken. Even if they do cry out for help, who would believe them? They're only prostitutes. And who would hear them? The police? They're more likely to arrest them. The men who pay to have sex with them? Not likely. They're usually married guys with kids, jobs and middle-class homes, who'd put all of that that at risk by outing themselves. dbramham@vancouversun.com © (c) CanWest MediaWorks Publications Inc.

4 PICS - 1 person I have talked to (Peter), 3 others I would like to talk to (Yvonne, Trish & Donald): PICTURE TOP LEFT: Yvonne Hubrechtsen (AKA: Angel - who was supposedly Jessie's friend, but with friends like this...who needs enemies) PICTURE TOP RIGHT: Peter Todd (Jessie's fiance, but still Trish's husband. Jessie thought they were divorced until she found their marriage certificate hidden in the house and Peter admitted he was not actually divorced yet...Jessie tore the paper into shreds, she was so upset - Peter was the pimp to both women and many others, some who I have myself spoke to, but they are too afraid to talk to the police for fear of retaliation towards their families...which tells me we may be correct to believe that Jessie was afraid of someone hurting or worse, a member of her family - WOW, it sounds like a CSI episode, but it is my life) PICTURE MIDDLE: Trish VanArsdale (AKA: Sierra - and the person who Jessie was most afraid of in Las Vegas, even though it is known that Peter actually is the one who beat her...I think Jessie thought Trish would do worse - also, I spoke to the photographer who took this and other professional pictures of Trish and other prostitutes, Justin Grant...I know, he has my last name...and he was kind and helpful, but knows nothing that can help us) PICTURE BOTTOM: Donald Vaz (Canadian who took Jessie to the USA, who is of interest to 2 different human trafficking task forces in Canada and whose brother is a convicted pimp from back in the early 1990's) ============================================ This is just one of the stories that I have about Jessie & Peter: Jessie was living with her fiance Peter Todd in his $750,000 house at 1009 Cornerstone Place, North Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a very nice house - my bff (best friend forever) Brenda Rose and I went to Las Vegas in October 2006 and went out to the house in our rental car (*NOTE: next blog/story: Story about Mark Fraser . . . and Brenda & I getting lost on our way to the house in North Las Vegas in October 2006 - is about us getting lost on our way there) and when I met Jessie's dad Dwight Foster in Las Vegas in January 2007 we also went to the house. Both times we plastered posters all over the place outside (front, back & garage doors, telephone poles) and knocked on doors for blocks around the house handing them out, telling them about their missing neighbour. WOW - was Peter mad. The first time he called me at our hotel the next day and told me he saw all these posters and I said, "Of course Peter...don't you want everyone to know Jessie is missing?" As always, he did not anwser (Peter does not answer me when he does not want to give a WRONG or BAD answer). So I am telling you first hand, it is a very nice house - 3 floors...pool in the back yard. Jessie used to call us and tell us she was sunbathing in the backyard and she always sounded happy. When Brenda and I were there we went into the neighbour's house for tea and talked to them and their grown children. They remember Jessie very well. Told us how she always had a huge smile on her face and would wave and them when she drove by. They also told us that they knew Peter Todd was a pimp and his ex-wife Trish VanArsdale was a prostitute but they did not think Jessie was, she was simply too sweet & kind (yes, that is my daughter). But sadly, he had been putting Jessie to work. He was her pimp and many people told me she was afraid of him, had seen bruises on her put there by him and she was also afraid of Trish. Both Jessie & Peter told me about this - and that Jessie would not open the door if she was home alone in case she was on the other side and one time she was screaming, yelling & swearing on the other side of the door...she was so scared she called home. Jessie did love that house and no wonder. She grew up in Kamloops, BC in the same house from the age of 3 when I moved here from her birthplace, Calgary, AB and she lived here (we still live here) until she was in Grade 11 & 16-years-old and moved back to Calgary to live with her dad and stepmom Tracy. Our house is modest and that is probably exaggerating...put it this way. It is home and I have a magnet on my fridge that says, "This house is protected by a thin layer of dust" - LOL. We did not have a pool or 3 floors. It is a very old house, remodelled after we moved in. We added 2 more bedrooms, one of them downstairs. We had a trampoline in the backyard for 17 years, but like I said, no pool. Peter blinded her with bling. He took her to places where they sat next to, or walked next to the likes of Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz (when they dated). She would call me, all star struck...MOM, GUESS WHO I JUST SAW!!! I miss her so much. She had shoes worth her old month's salary in Canada. Peter would simply spoil her. We never knew why (he obviously needed her to be dressed nice), or that she was being abused & hospitalized and forced to work at an escort agency. I have talked to the manager of the agency, she cried when she heard my voice and gave me condolences as she (and the other girls who worked there) believes Jessie is dead due to the extreme battery she lived with. I believe Jessie is alive and I think she has a bit more hope that she may be after talking to me for over an hour. This woman gave her her home phone number to call her if I ever needed to. I will contact her when we find Jessie. Jessie would call me often with stories of a fight they just had and sometimes even called me during a fight!! Seriously...I got a call at about 3am (Jessie often called me at that time as she knew I was just getting up for work then and because I always give myself extra time in the morning I had time to talk) and at first all I heard was yelling! Then Jessie got on, totally freaked out. Telling me that Peter had just kicked her in the head. I told him to put him on and tried with all my being to get him to get her to move back to Canada, to come home to me. He would downplay the fight...actually telling me he kicked her in the head "by accident"! I have never kicked anyone, or been kicked, in the head "accidently". Right after that fight Jessie left Peter and went to California with her friend Brooke (another POI in Jessie's case). She was gone only a few days, went back to him and by the end of that month, March of 2006, she was missing. I tried to contact Peter Todd as soon as we realized Jessie was missing (within the first day and by 2 days we knew something was terribly wrong). For several days there was just voicemail...I also tried calling Jessie's friend Yvonne Hubrechtsen (AKA: Angel) but all I ever got was her voicemail. This was too weird, so I eventually tried call blocking my number, so they did not know who it was, and LOW AND BEHOLD, first Peter answered, then right after Yvonne answered. GO FIGURE - they did not know it was a Canadian phone number with a "250" area code and they answered. I was actually shocked, because I did not suspect anything...UNTIL RIGHT THEN. PETER [see pic above - top right] told me that Jessie packed up and left him on April 3...6 days prior. But that did not explain where she was since March 29 and WHY HE DID NOT ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS BEFORE THEN. He said she packed all her stuff and left - taking everything with her except her hairdryer and makeup. I FREAKED OUT. I told him that Jessie would not leave and not call us for this long and she would never leave her hairdryer and makeup behind and to call the police right now and report her missing. I hung up and reported her missing here. Then I called Yvonne and waited for Peter to call me back. YVONNE [see pic above - top left] (or someone) answered her phone, and when I asked if this was Angel/Yvonne, she said I had the wrong number. I was adamant, stating that my daughter is Jessie Foster, she is missing and this is the number I had to her friend, Yvonne Hubrechtsen or Angel. She asked me what happened and again, said it was the wrong number. I hung up and looked and my oldest daughter Crystal and a couple of friends there to help me that day and they all had the strangest look on their faces. I said, "WHAT?" Crystal asked me why a wrong number would care to question the person on the other end of the phone and I had to agree...it was strange and made it look like she was lying. I waited a time (several days) and called back, this time pulling a fast one myself. I said, "Hey Angel, how's it going?" as soon as she answered the phone. I did not ask for her, I just talked as if I recognized her voice. Strangely, she said, "OK" and I rushed on saying, "what are you doing" and asked "are you coming over later?" She said, "Who is this?" and I hung up the phone. I KNEW IT WAS HER - THERE WAS NO WRONG NUMBER LAST TIME. I have never had a chance to talk to her since, even though we have tried. She got arrested in Vancouver, BC about a 3 1/2 hour drive from where I live and was deported back to the USA and is banned from coming back to Canada for 5 years, so the rest of our Canadian young women are safe from her for now. So, I talked to Peter again last night. This is many times now I have talked to him over the past 2 1/2 years - and it does seem strange to talk to him, since I am not sure if he did anything to her or not...I mean - what if he killed her? What if he sold her? What if she had to go into hiding to protect herself from harm (probably not what happened, but in reality, it is a possibility)? WHO KNOWS? Well, someone knows but we do not know who that someone is. _________________________ FOR MORE INFO ABOUT JESSIE, GO TO: www.jessiefoster.ca/
